FORMAT
SHORTs do their best to be as accessible and understandable for its viewers as possible.Each program of the festival lasts around 2 hours and unites films of different genres.
Your opinion together with other viewer's opinions makes the Best Short of the program.
The only thing important to us is the expression of your eyes when the final credits begin. Nothing superfluos, no pathos. Just cinema and people capable of loving, feeling joy and being amazed just as you are.
IDEOLOGY
Life is short. That's why it's important to catch the moment.Epathy, love, joy, amazement, hatred - those are the emotions which make people come and watch films. Those are the emotions SHORTs would like to give its viewers by communicating with them, by arranging its programs, by inviting special guests.

programm policy
SHORTs are about short films in all their genre, stylistic and technical diversity. Film as a source of new emotions, entertainment and leisure.SHORTs select films by giving preferences to:
• comedy, action, youth melodrama and mystics in fiction filmsв игровом кино
• human stories without politics and travels in documentary film
• humor and great technical characteristics in animation
• experimental films relative to music videos and animation.
To be short, the film has to have a good script and be well made in every aspect.
We will never show any SHORTs with the content that could violate any human rights and freedoms or laws of the Russian Federation, calls for ratial or religious intolerance, includes pornography.

SHORTs deal with those organizations whose activities match our concept and partnership principals.We use flexible partnership plans trying to be helpful, understandable and finding solutions mutually benifitial for us and our partners.
organization
Participation in SHORTs festival is voluntary. We do not pay our participants.
In 2007/2008 we will show 9 diffeent original programs in Moscow and St Petersburg. We guarantee that we do not show your film more than twice in one city.
We guarantee that SHORTs will adhere to copyright laws and will never use your film or its fragment in purposes other than the festival itself.
